Practice the first group of regular verbs in Croatian, ending in "iti". Knowing the present tense 'neutral' form of each of these verbs allows you to easily convert the endings using any tense rule (Present, Future, and Perfective/Past). Example: "govoriti" - to speak, present tense: ja govorim (+m -ti) ti govoriš (+š -ti) mi govorimo (+mo -ti) vi govorite (+te -ti) on/ona/one govori (-ti) oni/ona/one govore (+ju -ti)

Whilst I’ve tried to ensure that all the info is correct, I’m only a student myself. Where possible all verbs are in the 1st person sing, even if this is not a common form. Where this wasn’t possible, the rest are in the 3rd person sing. All these are translated only as 'It', but could be 'He or She' as well in most cases. I’ve given some alternative Greek spellings. Where there are 2(or more), the one that appears 1st, is the one being said, even if this is not the most common. For the English, I’ve tried to be thorough within the space allowed. Most Greek verbs cover 2 or 3 English ones (or more), so when using the "Know It" section, which requires you to match the text exactly, the 1st time you use this mode decide if your answer is correct, and if it is, tick the "Use as alternative answer" box and from then on all is well. I’m sorry for the variations in the volume level, but hopefully you will find a suitable balance, best wishes Mike
