These lists are for folks who want to learn the French language as it is spoken in Louisiana. We refer to it as Cajun French. There is variety within our area, so if the accents you hear don't sound exactly like your memère, please be patient. We're working on representing the diversity of our speakers. For now you'll hear the voices of Earlene Broussard, Pete Bergeron, Kirby Jambon, Becca Begnaud, Mavis Frugé, Jim Soileau, Brenda Mounier and me.
